AARON GRAIG

Aaron Craig is an Australian pop artist based on the Sunshine Coast, whose work is rich in 80s and 90s pop culture nostalgia. His creative background is in Visual Communication Design and gallery curation, which he implements to give his paintings a visually pleasing sense of balance. Often forging together conflicting elements from cartoons, comics, products and advertising until they become familiar at first glance, but at a second look are completely unique.

Aaron Craig loves classic cartoons and the superheroes and villains he grew up obsessing over. This amalgamation of unlikely characters brings to life a new world of not-so classic team-ups, strangely familiar and drenched in nostalgia.
